As a charity, AOA体育平台 reinvest any surplus we make to advance medical care and technology, into clinical training and education and improving outcomes for patients. Partnering with Maggie鈥檚 aligns with AOA体育平台鈥檚 charitable commitment to improve the lives of patients beyond their treatment.
Founded in 1996, Maggie鈥檚 has been providing free, expert practical and psychological support to people living with cancer for nearly thirty years. This includes access to workshops, courses, one-on-one and group support. Maggie鈥檚 helps patients with stress and depression, managing side-effects, money worries and relationship and family support.
Every Maggie鈥檚 centre is thoughtfully designed to be calming and welcoming; a place with comfy sofas, large open spaces for group activities and kitchen tables for conversation, as well as plenty of quiet corners for reflection.
There are 24 Maggie鈥檚 centres across the UK, including those closest to AOA体育平台 at St Bartholomew鈥檚 Hospital (Barts) and The Royal Free Hospital, as well as centres at Charing Cross Hospital and The Royal Marsden.
