Positive Interim Results for Lindenow Concession

Softrock Petroleums Lid., of Calgary, is pleased to announce positive interim results in the exploration of their 272,304 acre (1,102 sq. km.) Lindenow concession in South-East Greenland.

In the Lindenow fjord area, near the centre of the concession, a layered gabbro formation has been found that has surface values of 0.5% by weight Nickel (Canadian and Foreign Ni-Cu commercial sulphide deposits vary from 0.2% to 3.5%). Also, 0.8% by weight Copper analyses were obtained (commercial varies from 0.2% upward).

Geophysical and Geological work is proceeding this summer with indications so far, that this layered gabbro formation covers an area at least 8 km in diameter. Because this type of formation can also contain platinum and lead, new samples will also be checked for these minerals.
