SoftRock's Greenland Survey Looks Promising

CALGARY, ALBERTA - E. Denis Gagnon, Chief Finance Officer of SoftRock Petroleums Ltd., announced today that the corporation is just beginning to review the results of a detailed, airborne-geophysical survey it recently conducted over two exclusively controlled properties in Greenland. The purpose of the survey was to locate any anomolous patterns which might reflect kimberlite pipes, and to detect zones of conductive mineralization.

Mr. Gagnon is quoted as saying that "the survey costs appear to be money well spent and that follow-up ground investigations are likely warranted".

In flying the survey for SoftRock, the contractor used a multi-coil, multi-frequency electromagnetic system supplemented by a high sensitivity Cesium magnetometer with line separations of 200 meters. SoftRock will be making a more detailed announcement once the review is finished.

SoftRock trades on the Alberta Stock Exchange under the trading symbol "STZ".
