Calgary, Alberta, July 28, 2008 – Softrock Minerals Ltd. (“Softrock” or the “Corporation”) (TSVX: SFT) is pleased to announce that the Alberta Securities Commission has issued an order revoking the cease trade order issued against Softrock on June 4, 2008. Trading of the Corporation’s common shares is expected to resume on the TSX Venture exchange on Wednesday, July 30, 2008.

As part of the process of seeking revocation of the cease trade order, the Corporation filed its financial statements and management’s discussion and analysis for the three month period ended March 31, 2008.
